When I first found out that Lindsay Adler would be doing her thing on creativeLIVE I was beyond excited. Hearing her speak at WPPI this past February was like a tease into her amazing creativity and the art she creates with her Portraiture. She showed us how using something as simple as a Christmas ornament can change a portrait…dramatically…in a good and unique way!! With that in mind of course I was going to submit for this. At first I was hesitant but for the wrong reasons, so I quickly grabbed my video camera and hit record. I love fashion and the art of it and I want to witness her magic, creative, photographic mind at work in person. Regardless, I will be watching this workshop for sure! Lindsay, continue to inspire us, as well as create and make beautiful work. Good luck to everyone who submitted and thank you creativeLIVE! So have you gotten your Senior portraits taken yet? Did you love them or hate them? I remember when I was a high school Senior, oh the 90′s photography was hilarious!! I liked them but oh how I laugh at some of them today. If you haven’t booked your Senior portraits yet, what are you waiting for? Last weekend I had the pleasure of attending Sharon’s bridal luncheon and she is one LOVED young lady. How could she not be! She is as gorgeous and beautiful on the inside as she is in her outward appearance. Sharon & Matt’s “Save the Date’s” turned out great and I was very happy and honored to be a part of it! I mean come on a… Bloodhound wearing cowboy boots!!! :D You cannot tell me that isn’t funny?!!?! I cannot take credit for the boots; Peggy(Sharon’s mom) & Bryan are to thank for those–as well as their dog! ;) I got to see Matt [Matty--in the voice like Jennifer Garner on 13 Going On 30] as well and got the opportunity to catch up with him for a little bit before it was time for him to load up! I continue to wish you two the absolute best in life, love, health, happiness and prosperity, as well as your families. Continue to be you and you will be great! Love always! P.S. What a wonderful day this has been!!! I can honestly say that I am beyond blessed, thrilled, excited, nervous and happy about the things that are coming in the near future for me.

I guess sometimes during a leap year we all feel more determined, more focused, we have more goals and we shoot for so many stars! :)  I am no exception!!  Here I am again I know vying for a spot in the live audience for Creativelive & Bambi Cantrell’s Posing Masterclass.  Oh it would be so divine to be there laughing with Bambi, learning, posing, understanding the light with certain poses, etc.  I swoon at the thought.  That’s just it, a thought at the moment!! :D

I have faith and with my legal birthday being tomorrow, I am optimistic that things will work out for the best and I wish every photographer that submitted the best of luck.  If you do not know who Bambi Cantrell is or Creativelive, please crawl out of your whole and do a search on Google and you will quickly know who they both are!  I am so excited to learn more things, learn more about posing and light and how to form the body so it is absolutely flattering!  Creativelive streams the workshop live so you do not have to be in the live studio audience to learn from Bambi.  Just go to their website and enroll in the course and/or go ahead and purchase it for $99 while the promotion is still running!  It is worth the investment.  Okay I ramble when I am nervous!!!  Wish me luck!  Until then, I hope that everyone has a wonderful week and Happy Birthday to all of my Pisces!!  It has been a great month!  XoRo
